Our Focus is
Jesus Christ
Our focus is Jesus, who is central to
everything we do at Flat Rock. We sing, pray, and preach in His powerful
name. Our past, present, and future is centered on Jesus Christ. Our
purpose on this earth is to promote the teachings of Jesus Christ and
make His name known.
"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit."

We are
Real People
We are real people infused with dynamic faith, committed to a common vision, joined together by the covenant love of our Creator. We believe in multicultural, multigenerational ministry whose sole purpose is to build a community for Christ. We firmly believe that you should come as you are to the feet of Jesus, for he is capable of transforming a broken, contrite heart into a joyful, flourishing one.

We were
Completely Broken
We used to be completely broken people. Now, we walk in newness of life as born-again believers in Jesus Christ. We are grateful for this revival by redemption, this healing by forgiveness, and this blessing by divine appointment to go forth and make disciples. The remembrance of these truths is what inspires us to worship the Lord, for He is worthy of all our praise.
"but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."
Ephesians 4:15-16
We serve
The perfect God
We serve a good and perfect God. The nations are His dwelling, and our lives are His vessels. We have compassion for the poor, and our arms are open to those in need. We believe God wants to prosper those who serve with generous hearts. There are many ways to get involved with serving at FRBC. Whether you give financially or give with your time and talents, we encourage you to be generous and spread the word of God in every way possible.
